My name is Blaine Lubotina. I was born and raised in Pasco County. I’m 14 years old and was the youngest kid in sail future to ever complete an expedition with sailfuture until Nigel came. I’m into building computers and modifying keyboards.

This trip is about getting us together, making us more of a family, and building more trust between us all while helping the people in need. On this trip we will be starting at St. Augustine, then going to West Palm Beach, then Miami, and then we will head up to Eleuthera and Marsh Harbor then back to St. Augustine. We will be gone for an estimate of 42 days. To build trust and to help the people in the Bahamas and bring families back together, we will be volunteering in the Bahamas and helping build homes for the people.

First mate: Is the leader of the group he will be planning the route and telling us the weather and dangers, and when someone on the crew misses a shift he is there to cover it. Engineer: He is one of the more important members of the crew by keeping the engine up and running, and keeping up on the oil and gas. Chef 1: He is the supervisor to Chef 2, cooks on even days, which is 3 to 4 days a week, and makes provisions and shopping lists. Chef 2: He is the one who cleans the fridge, cooks on odd days, helps with the shopping, and he organizes food areas.

Steward: He is the one who cleans, help us on shift with walking to wake people up, and goes to our beds by keeping it clean and help with laundry. Story teller: He is the one who takes the pictures and captures the moments of the trip, and then at the end of the week, he goes to a coffee shop and writes a 500 word essay about what happened that week. Captain Ken: You can probably tell by his name he is the Captain. He’s the one who always pops up out of the laz, which is his room, and checks on every one. He also is the one who tells us to change course. Ms. Christina: She is the supervisor for Chef 1 and and Steward, and if they don’t do their jobs then first mate will but if he doesn’t then she’s forced to. Ryan: he is the supervisor of story teller and chef 2 and if they don’t do their jobs then first mate will but if he doesn’t then he’s forced to.

I’m not really nervous about anything except for how my fingers are going to feel after the typing all those long words, sentences, and paragraphs. I’m mostly looking forward to helping the families that are in need. Me personally i’m excited to learn more about the hurricane that destroyed all those homes. I personally think this trip will be on the easier side. I hope to learn more about the boats engine because one trip i wish to be engineer. My personal goal is to be in sail future till i age out and hopefully have a certificate on the wall of me saying first in sail future to finish.

My personal goal is to have a certificate up on sail futures wall saying first in sail future to complete 12 Expeditions.
